MARK HAAS

I have always had a passion for building. Whether it be Legos or metal sculptures, I wanted to build and create. Going through life I kept these ideas alive until I found my passion for the military. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps half-way through my senior year of high school. After serving an honorable 4 years, including one deployment to Afghanistan, I decided to leave the Marine Corps and venture back home. With my passion to build rekindled, I dove head-first into obtaining my Bachelors degree at Wayne State University with  a concentration in Construction Management. Along with diligently studying Construction Management, I pursued an Associates in Industrial Technology with a focus on welding. I have always had an interest in welding because I figured if I could manipulate and build with metal, I could build almost anything. After working for different companies and shops, acquiring different equipment and expertise along the way, I decided it was time to go into business for myself. In 2020 I launched my LLC “Haas Welding and Fabricating”. At the time I mainly wanted to focus on small jobs and mobile repair, but after a bit of time, I  realized I needed to expand and tackle bigger projects.  I went back to work for a couple more shops, gained even more experience along with several new tools and machinery, and now I’m happy to have my own shop with all the capabilities to be able to make this world a little more metal!
